Fitment and compatibility

For 2017–2019 Mazda CX-5 with the matching factory proximity/keyless-start system and four-button power-hatch remote. Applicable 2.0L or 2.5L gasoline, 2.5L turbo gasoline and 2.2L diesel configurations must still be checked against the original remote; engine, trim and model year alone do not establish compatibility.

Match the original FCC ID, 315 MHz frequency, four-button hatch layout, case shape and blade profile before ordering. Three-button remotes, sedan trunk-button variants, later rectangular cases and conventional-ignition keys are not interchangeable solely because they share a model or FCC family.
