For vehicles originally equipped with matching push-button-start/proximity-key hardware only. Confirm FCC ID, original key reference, frequency, button functions, blade profile and immobilizer configuration before ordering. Not for conventional ignition keys, later key generations or different button arrangements. The 2009 Taurus is not confirmed for this listing. A shared model name or FCC ID alone does not guarantee interchangeability.

Programming and key cutting

Have a qualified automotive locksmith or dealership program both remotes and cut the emergency blades. Self-programming is not supported by this replacement. Verify installer support before purchase. The remotes operate existing vehicle functions and do not add remote-start, liftgate or other options.
