Two new aftermarket one-button flip-key replacement shells with uncut HU39-profile folding blades. Designed to restore a worn or broken original Mercedes-Benz key housing while reusing its working internal components.

What is included

• Two black ABS replacement shells with a single round remote button, blade-release button and red infrared window.
• HU39-profile uncut folding blades and housing mechanisms.
• No remote electronics, circuit board, immobilizer/transponder chip or battery is included.

Fitment and compatibility

For matching Mercedes-Benz one-button HU39 flip-key housings. Applicable original-key styles are found on selected 1992–1993 300SL/500SL and 500E, 1993 500SEC/600SEC, 1994–1997 SL320/SL500 and S320/S420/S500, and 1994–1995 E420 configurations. Fitment depends on the original key style, not just vehicle year or model.

Compare the original housing, one-button layout, infrared window, internal mounting points, pivot and HU39 blade groove/profile with all photos before ordering. Not for multi-button housings, HU64-profile keys or later electronic SmartKey designs. The source model-year range is not a guarantee for vehicles fitted with a different key design.

Installation

Transfer your original working electronics, any immobilizer chip and battery into the replacement housing. Have a qualified locksmith cut the supplied blade or assess transfer of the original blade where compatible. An empty shell cannot unlock or start the vehicle by itself and will not repair defective electronics. Cutting and installation services are not included.
