⚠️ Check Your Dashboard Before Ordering

The GMSX6S2 is designed for compatible Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra models from 2014–2018, but not every dashboard configuration used during these years is suitable.

Please compare your original centre console with the Suitable / Not Suitable examples shown in the listing images.

The dashboard style marked Not Suitable is not compatible with this stereo.

Do not purchase based on vehicle year alone. Original dashboard, audio and equipment configurations must also be checked.

⚠️ BOSE-Equipped Vehicles Require an Additional Decoder

If your Silverado or Sierra has the factory BOSE sound system, an additional BOSE decoder is required for audio output.

Choose one compatible decoder:

• Eonon A508X

A508X are sold separately unless specifically included in your selected package.

Without the required decoder, a BOSE-equipped vehicle will have no sound after installation.

If your truck does not have the factory BOSE audio system, this additional BOSE decoder is not required.

Keep Supported Factory Truck Features

The vehicle-specific interface is designed to retain selected original Chevrolet / GMC functions on compatible configurations.

Depending on your truck equipment, supported functions include:

• Steering wheel controls*
• OnStar
• Door-open information
• A/C information
• Parking sensor information
• Reversing guidelines
• CANBUS vehicle data
• Compatible factory backup camera

*The original voice recognition steering-wheel button is not supported.

Factory equipment varies between Silverado and Sierra configurations, so individual retained functions depend on the original vehicle.

Keep the Compatible Factory Backup Camera

Already have an original reversing camera?

On compatible Silverado and Sierra configurations, the GMSX6S2 is designed to retain the factory backup camera when replacing the original radio.

The reversing image can be displayed through the new 10.1" screen when the vehicle is placed in reverse.

This allows you to upgrade the infotainment system without automatically giving up a useful original parking feature.

Factory camera configuration can vary, so please check the compatibility information before installation.

• 6GB RAM
• 64GB internal storage
• 1-second fast boot supported
• OTA firmware updates

Connect your compatible smartphone and access commonly used functions directly from the stereo.

Use compatible:

• Messages
• Siri
• Google Assistant

Both wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, so you can choose between cable-free convenience and a wired connection.

10.1" QLED HD Touchscreen

The 10.1-inch QLED touchscreen gives maps, media, vehicle information and compatible camera images significantly more viewing space than the original radio interface.

• 1280×720 HD resolution
• 178° wide viewing angle
• Anti-glare design
• Capacitive touchscreen
• Day / night brightness adjustment

The larger display provides a substantial infotainment upgrade while integrating into compatible Silverado and Sierra dashboards.

Fine-tune your truck's audio around your speakers, cabin and listening preferences.

Audio features include:

• Built-in DSP
• 48-band EQ

Built-In GPS Navigation

Use the built-in GPS receiver and external GPS antenna with compatible offline maps, or connect to the internet for supported navigation services such as Google Maps and Waze.

Offline navigation allows route guidance without continuous mobile data, while an internet connection enables supported online traffic and connected services.

4G LTE + Wi-Fi 6 Connectivity

Insert a compatible SIM card to give the stereo its own mobile data connection for supported navigation, streaming and Android applications.

Connectivity includes:

• Built-in 4G LTE
• 2.4GHz / 5GHz Wi-Fi
• Wi-Fi 6 ready
• Bluetooth 5.1

A SIM card is not required for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, AM/FM radio or GPS reception.
