⚠️ Important Compatibility Check

Designed for Toyota Tacoma 2005–2013.

The product images show several compatible factory radio layouts, but your original audio configuration still needs to be checked before ordering.

⚠️ Not Compatible with Factory JBL Audio

The TYTACX7A is not suitable for Toyota Tacoma vehicles equipped with the factory JBL audio system.

Please check your factory speakers, radio and audio system for a JBL logo before purchase.

If your Tacoma has factory JBL audio, this version should not be selected.

Vehicle-Specific Tacoma Installation

The TYTACX7A is designed around compatible Tacoma dashboards rather than using a generic universal-radio layout.

Benefits include:

• Vehicle-specific dashboard design
• Vehicle-specific wiring
• Cleaner integration with the original centre console
• Support for compatible steering wheel controls

Please compare your original radio with the compatible examples shown in the product images before purchase.

Keep Steering Wheel Controls Active

Supported factory steering wheel controls can continue to operate after installation, allowing commonly used audio functions to remain within easy reach.

Steering wheel voice recognition button is not supported.

Function availability may vary depending on the original steering wheel configuration.

Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect a compatible smartphone wirelessly and access everyday phone functions directly from the 9" display.

The TYTACX7A supports both wireless and wired Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, giving you access to compatible:

• Google Maps and navigation apps
• Music and podcasts
• Hands-free calls
• Messages
• Siri
• Google Assistant

Wireless operation means you do not need to plug in your phone every time you get into your Tacoma.

Android 14 + 4GB RAM / 64GB Storage

The TYTACX7A runs Android 14 on an RK3562 quad-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Use compatible Android apps directly from the head unit for navigation, music and other in-car functions.

Also supported:

• Split-screen multitasking
• Custom boot logo
• Changeable wallpapers
• 3 built-in UI themes
• 1-second fast boot support

9" IPS HD Touchscreen

The 9" 1280 × 720 IPS display provides a larger interface for navigation, music and Android apps than a traditional factory radio.

Wide viewing angles and the larger display area make frequently used controls easier to see and operate during daily driving.

WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.4

Built-in WiFi 6 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, allowing the stereo to connect to a smartphone hotspot or another available Wi-Fi source.

Bluetooth 5.4 supports compatible phone and wireless audio connections.

Please note: Built-in 4G LTE is not included. Mobile-network access requires a compatible external 4G dongle.

Built-In GPS Navigation

The integrated GPS system allows compatible navigation apps to run directly on the head unit without relying entirely on your smartphone.

You can use:

• Online navigation
• Compatible offline maps
• Navigation while playing music
• Split-screen navigation and media

With downloaded offline maps, navigation can continue without an active mobile-data connection.

48-Band DSP Audio Control

The built-in DSP gives you more control over how your Tacoma's audio system is tuned.

Features include:

• 48-band equalizer
• Custom and preset EQ modes
• HPF / LPF adjustment
• Time alignment
• Subwoofer output
• 5-channel preamp outputs
• 4 RCA audio outputs
• ST TDA7388 amplifier
• 25W RMS manufacturer-rated power
• Up to 4 × 45W maximum amplifier output

Adjust bass, frequency balance and speaker output to suit your speakers and listening preferences.

For additional amplification, the optional Eonon A304 DSP Amplifier is available separately.

Camera Support

Add compatible camera equipment for better visibility when parking or reversing.

The TYTACX7A supports:

• Front camera input
• Rear-view camera input
• Automatic reverse display
• Parking guidelines

Camera compatibility depends on the original vehicle and camera configuration.

Split Screen & Wireless Screen Mirroring

Split-screen multitasking lets compatible functions such as navigation and music stay visible together.

Wireless screen mirroring is also supported for compatible iOS and Android devices.

Note: Some copyrighted streaming services may restrict screen mirroring due to DRM protection.

AM/FM Radio & Optional DAB+

The built-in radio supports traditional AM/FM listening without relying on mobile data.

For supported regions, DAB+ digital radio can be added using an optional compatible Eonon DAB+ module.

Media & Connections

Supported connections include:

• 3 × USB inputs
• 2 × audio inputs
• 4 × RCA audio outputs
• 5-channel preamp output
• Dedicated subwoofer preamp output
• 1 × video input
• No AUX input
• No video output
