Eonon A0590 Extension Harness for BMW E46 / E39

The Eonon A0590 Extension Harness is designed for compatible BMW E46 and E39 vehicles where the factory radio tuner / main power connection is located in the rear of the vehicle.
It extends the required connections from the rear factory radio system to a compatible Eonon E46 or E39 car stereo, helping provide a clean and reliable installation.
Important: A0590 is designed only for compatible Eonon head units. It is not intended for use with other brands.
Do I Need the A0590?
Please check your vehicle before ordering.
A0590 is suitable when all of the following conditions are met:
✔ You are installing a compatible Eonon BMW E46 / E39 car stereo
✔ The original connectors behind the dashboard radio are blue and white
✔ Your vehicle has a compatible 40-pin connector or supported 17-pin connector at the factory radio tuner / power connection in the rear of the vehicle
⚠ 17-Pin Connector – Important
Not every 17-pin connector is compatible.
Suitable:
- Compatible 40-pin connector
- 17-pin connector with the required pins present, as shown in our reference image
Not Suitable:
- A 17-pin connector where the 4 indicated pin positions are empty, as shown in the “Not Suitable” reference image

How to Check Your Vehicle
1. Check behind the original dashboard radio
Remove the original stereo and check the connectors.
If the original dashboard connectors are blue and white, continue by checking the factory radio tuner / power connector in the rear of the vehicle.
2. Check the rear factory connector
Locate the factory radio tuner / power connection in the rear of the vehicle.
Check whether your vehicle uses the compatible 40-pin or 17-pin connector shown in our images.
3. Compare the 17-pin configuration carefully
If you have a 17-pin connector, make sure the four positions indicated in our comparison image are not empty.
If those four positions are empty, A0590 is not suitable.
Installation
- Disconnect the factory radio antenna and connect it to the radio antenna connector on the A0590 extension harness.
- Disconnect the factory 17-pin or 40-pin power connector and connect it to the corresponding male connector on the A0590.
- Connect the corresponding female connector on the A0590 back to the vehicle's factory radio tuner.
- Route the extension harness carefully from the rear of the vehicle to the compatible Eonon head unit and complete the required connections.
- Test the radio and audio functions before completing installation.
