Important Model-Year Correction

This decal layout should be advertised for 2003–2006, not 2003–2007.

The 2007–2011 Saab 9-3 uses a redesigned climate-control panel with three rotary knobs. Decals shaped for the earlier rectangular-button panel will not fit that later design.

Installation Instructions

1. Compare the decal sheet with every button on the vehicle before beginning.

2. Switch off the ignition and make sure the control-panel surface is cool.

3. Remove loose or peeling soft-touch coating from each button.

4. Clean away oil, silicone, polish and adhesive residue using a plastic-safe cleaner.

5. Allow every button to dry completely.

6. Test-position each decal before removing its backing.

7. Align the symbol carefully and apply the decal from one edge.

8. Press and smooth the decal firmly to eliminate trapped air.

9. Allow the adhesive to set before operating or cleaning the controls.

For the best appearance, the original button surface should be smooth, clean and free of loose coating.

Backlighting Note

The white symbols are designed to remain visible with the panel illumination. Final nighttime appearance depends on accurate decal alignment, the condition of the original button illumination and the light-transmission properties of the decal material.
