Product Description

Brand-new pair of metal radio-removal keys designed to release compatible factory Becker, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, and select European Ford single-DIN radios.

Each tool slides into one of the horizontal release slots near the lower corners of a compatible radio. Once fully seated, the keys disengage the internal retaining clips so the head unit can be carefully pulled from the dashboard.

Important Fitment Requirement

The radio must have:

A standard single-DIN configuration
One horizontal release slot near each lower corner
Becker-style internal retaining clips

Some radio names were used across multiple generations, so confirm the physical removal slots rather than relying only on the radio name.

How to Use

Turn off the ignition and radio.
Locate the two horizontal slots near the lower corners of the radio.
Insert one removal key into each slot in the correct orientation.
Push both keys in evenly until the retaining clips release.
Pull both rings outward evenly to slide the radio from the dashboard.
Support the radio before disconnecting any wiring.
Release the side retaining clips before removing the keys from the radio.

Do not force the tools. If they do not engage, remove them and confirm their orientation and compatibility.

Important Installation Note

Obtain the radio security code before disconnecting the vehicle battery or unplugging the radio. Some factory radios enter an anti-theft lock mode when power is removed and require the original code before they will operate again.
