2qty Xenon Ballast & D2R Bulb HID Headlight for 2004-06 Saab 9-2X OEM 32008716
๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป
Pair of genuine OEM Matsushita xenon HID headlight ballast, igniter and D2R bulb assemblies for select 2005โ2006 Saab 9-2X vehicles equipped with the factory xenon lighting system.
Each ballast regulates the electrical power required to start and operate one factory 35-watt HID bulb. These components are suitable for replacing failed original equipment when the part numbers, connectors and headlight configuration match.

The ballast converts and regulates vehicle electrical power for the HID headlight. The igniter produces the high-voltage pulse needed to illuminate the xenon bulb, while the ballast maintains stable operation after startup.
Common symptoms of a failed component may include:
โข Headlight does not illuminate ย
โข Light flickers or shuts off intermittently ย
โข Bulb takes several attempts to start ย
โข One headlight operates while the other does not ย
โข Xenon light displays inconsistent brightness ย

These components will not convert a halogen-equipped Saab 9-2X to xenon lighting. They are replacement parts for vehicles that already have the compatible factory HID system.
Do not order by vehicle year alone. Compare all part numbers, plugs, wiring, mounting points and photographs with the original components.
The Saab 9-2X was sold in the United States for the 2005 and 2006 model years. The existing listingโs 2004 application should therefore be removed unless it refers specifically to a production date rather than a vehicle model year.

Professional installation is strongly recommended. HID lighting systems generate dangerously high voltage during startup.
Disconnect the battery and allow the system to discharge before servicing. Never touch the glass portion of a xenon bulb with bare hands. Oils left on the glass can shorten bulb life or cause premature failure.
Exact-match replacement components typically do not require vehicle programming. Headlight aim should be inspected after installation.

A nonworking xenon headlight can be caused by the bulb, ballast, igniter, fuse, wiring, connector, ground circuit or moisture inside the headlight housing. Proper diagnosis is recommended before replacing parts.
Because the included bulbs are used, their remaining life and color temperature may differ slightly. Replacing xenon bulbs in matching pairs generally provides the most consistent color and brightness.
