GENUINE MINI/BMW 40-PIN QUADLOCK-STYLE RADIO CONNECTOR PIGTAIL
Used factory radio wiring connector removed from a second-generation MINI. This is a repair pigtail with cut wire leads, intended for replacing a damaged, melted, corroded or previously modified radio connector.
The actual connector and wiring shown in the photographs will be supplied.
DIRECT MINI APPLICATIONS
This connector style is used with selected factory radio and navigation configurations in the following second-generation MINI models:
• 2008–2014 MINI Clubman — R55
• 2007–2013 MINI Hardtop/Hatchback — R56
• 2009–2015 MINI Convertible — R57
• 2012–2015 MINI Coupe — R58
• 2012–2015 MINI Roadster — R59
• 2011–2016 MINI Countryman — R60
• 2013–2016 MINI Paceman — R61
Applicable trim levels may include One, Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper SD and John Cooper Works. Compatibility depends on the installed factory audio system—not the engine or trim level alone.

The same general Quadlock connector housing was used with various second-generation MINI systems, including:

Third-generation MINI vehicles can use different keying, pin assignments and head-unit architecture. This particular pigtail should not be advertised as a direct replacement for F-series MINIs without comparing both connectors.

FITMENT INFORMATION
This is not a universal plug-and-play radio adapter.
Although many BMW and MINI radios use a similar 40-pin housing, the following can differ:
• Connector keying
• Number and location of installed terminals
• Speaker-level versus amplified audio wiring
• CAN-bus connections
• AUX, USB, Bluetooth and microphone wiring
• Harman Kardon or Logic 7 amplifier connections
• MOST fiber-optic insert
• Navigation and display connections
• Antenna and satellite-radio connections
Before purchasing, compare the connector face, locating tabs, internal colored inserts, terminal population and wire colors with the original vehicle harness.
HARMAN KARDON / MOST WARNING
Vehicles equipped with Harman Kardon, Logic 7, factory navigation or other amplified systems may contain a MOST fiber-optic connection inside the Quadlock housing. The fiber-optic insert must be transferred or retained correctly for the audio system to function.

A radio, amplifier, antenna connector, MOST fiber-optic cable, installation adapter and wiring instructions are not included unless physically shown.
INSTALLATION
This repair pigtail must be spliced into the vehicle wiring. Match every circuit using the wiring diagram for the exact vehicle, production date and audio option.
Do not connect wires solely by color because BMW and MINI wire assignments can vary between models and equipment packages. Professional installation is recommended.
