GROM BMWSB3 interface kit for adding USB media playback, supported phone integration and auxiliary-input capability to compatible BMW C33, C43 and Business CD43 factory radios. Optional GROM accessories can add Bluetooth hands-free calling and wireless audio.

Fitment and Compatibility

For selected BMW and MINI vehicles already equipped with a compatible C33 DIN US, C43 DIN US or CD43 Business CD radio and the matching changer/interface connection. Source applications include selected E36, E34, E38, Z3, M Roadster/Coupe, M3 and M5 models. Confirm the installed radio model and rear connector; vehicle year alone is not sufficient.

No BMW OE part number applies to this aftermarket interface. Bluetooth functionality requires the compatible GROM BTD dongle when it is not included with the selected package.

Package Contents

One GROM interface module, vehicle-specific harness, automotive USB extension cable and operation manual, plus any microphone/accessory explicitly shown for the purchased package. Optional BTD Bluetooth dongle and 35USB AUX/charging cable are not included unless selected or pictured.

Installation Notes

Disconnect the radio, connect the vehicle-specific harness and route accessory cables away from sharp edges. Confirm radio/changer-port compatibility before installation. Available phone control and charging features depend on the connected device, GROM firmware and selected accessories.
