Product Details

Physical firmware-update CD prepared for compatible BMW and MINI MK4 DVD navigation computers. The disc updates the navigation-computer operating software to the V32 / 4-1/00 software level and can enable the corresponding interface graphics, split-screen options and 3D perspective view supported by the installed system.

Fitment and Compatibility

For compatible MK4 DVD navigation computers used in selected 2002-up BMW E46, E39, E38, E65/E66, E83, E53, E85/E86, MINI and certain Land Rover/Range Rover applications. Compatibility is determined by the navigation-computer model and DVD logo—not vehicle year alone. Do not use in MK1, MK2 or MK3 CD-based navigation computers.

Installation Notes

Maintain stable vehicle voltage throughout the update. Eject the map disc, follow the printed ignition and door-position procedure, and do not switch off power or remove the update disc until the navigation screen instructs you to do so. An interrupted update or failing navigation drive can render the computer inoperative.
