This adapter will not fit simply because the vehicle appears in a compatibility table. It may not work when:

The radio has a white 14-pin CD-changer/SAT connector instead
The required 6-pin port is absent
The port is already occupied by an external CD changer, XM tuner or another accessory
The vehicle has an aftermarket radio
The factory radio cannot select its external AUX or changer source
The connector shape or pin arrangement differs from the photographs

Installation overview

Obtain the factory radio security code before disconnecting the battery.
Disconnect the vehicle’s negative battery terminal.
