Fitment and installation

For selected Volkswagen PQ35/PQ46 radio installations with the matching faceplate and connections. It is not for MQB vehicles. Confirm the original radio, dashboard opening, wiring and factory audio configuration before ordering; matching a model name alone does not establish fitment.

Vehicles built before 2009 may require a compatible CAN gateway or decoder to prevent battery drain. A gateway/interface may also be needed if Bluetooth reports that the ignition must be switched on. These additional interfaces are not included. Steering-wheel controls, parking-sensor display and factory amplified audio depend on the vehicle equipment and coding.

Reverse-camera use requires a compatible CVBS/AV camera, a suitable delay interface and any necessary coding. A factory RGB camera is not directly supported. Navigation uses supported apps on a connected phone rather than built-in maps. Confirm regional AM/FM tuning compatibility before purchase.

Condition

Unused take-off unit removed from a new vehicle, with possible installation traces; supplied as pictured. Hardware and software versions may vary by production batch. Professional installation is recommended. A phone, camera, CAN gateway and installation service are not included.
