Important: Compatibility is determined by the firmware programmed onto the chip—not merely by the physical chip number. The same MX25L3206EM2I hardware may be used in multiple Jynxbox models with different firmware. Do not install this chip in another model unless the programmed image has been confirmed for that exact receiver.
Not advertised for V3, V4, V5, V6, V7, V8, V10, V12, V14, V15, V16, V20, V21, V30, U7, clone receivers, or other versions.
Intended use:
This replacement chip may help recover a compatible Jynxbox V2 or V500 receiver that became unresponsive after an incorrect or corrupted firmware update, particularly when normal software or serial recovery is unavailable.
This chip will not correct failures caused by a defective power supply, processor, tuner, damaged circuit board, or another hardware problem. Recovery is not guaranteed until the receiver has been properly diagnosed.
Installation:
Professional electronic-repair and surface-mount soldering experience is required. The original chip must be desoldered and this replacement installed with the correct pin-one orientation. Excessive heat, reversed installation, damaged pads, or solder bridges can permanently damage the receiver.
