1. Disconnect the vehicle battery according to the manufacturer’s service procedure.

2. Remove the necessary dashboard trim and access the APIM.

3. Disconnect the original 54-pin vehicle connector.

4. Install this harness inline between the vehicle connector and APIM.

5. Connect the camera’s RCA video cable to the adapter.

6. Supply the camera with an appropriate power and ground connection.

7. Enable the rear-camera feature in the APIM when required.

8. Test camera activation and image quality before reinstalling the trim.
