Vehicle fitment depends on the installed radio. Some Audi A4, A6 and A8 installations use a solid 20-pin Mini ISO block that must be split to access an 8-pin accessory connection. Compare the original connector, keying, populated terminals and required pinout with the photographs before ordering. Vehicle model, model year or radio name alone does not establish compatibility.

Installation and limitations

This is a passive wiring adapter. A compatible CD changer or separately purchased interface is required for the intended accessory function. It does not add Bluetooth, USB, smartphone playback or AUX functionality by itself, and it does not convert incompatible radio protocols.

This is not an optical MOST/MMI cable, a Quadlock conversion harness or an 8-pin-to-12-pin CD-changer adapter. Match the connections and pin assignments before plugging it in.
