Special tools are specifically designed to release factory radio and are made of durable metal for lasting usefulness. They insert into the left and right slots near the bottom corners of the factory navigation unit.

1999-2006 BMW (E46) 3-Series: 323, 325, 328, 330 & M3

How to Use: 

1) Remove screws holding monitor in on top Left and Right

2) Press EJECT button to tilt screen.

3) Insert these tools into bottom Left and Right corners to depress and release the mounting brackets holding device into dash (see picture of clip being released below)
