Passenger-seat occupancy-sensor emulator for selected BMW E9x 3 Series restraint systems. The module substitutes the signal from a compatible failed seat-mat sensor and reports the passenger seat as occupied.

Part Number Information

93C3 is an application/fault-system reference, not a BMW service part number. This aftermarket emulator has no separate BMW OE number and must be matched by connector and restraint-system configuration.

Installation Notes

Safety notice: This device forces an occupied-seat signal and can change passenger-airbag behavior even when the seat is empty or a child restraint is installed. It is not equivalent to repairing the original detection mat. The factory-approved repair is proper diagnosis and replacement of the failed SRS component. Installation, battery isolation and fault-code clearing should be handled by a qualified technician in accordance with local law.
